ITANAGAR, Sep 13: In an intimation letter to the Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner, the Arunachal Law Students’ Union (ALSU) on Wednesday, announced to conduct a peace rally from Kankar Nallah Higher Secondary School Ground in Naharlagun to Indira Gandhi Park in Itanagar on September 20 next to protest against the state government’s alleged failure to respond to its charter of demands.
The Union had earlier demanded repeal of the Arunachal Pradesh Unlawful Activities Prevention Act 2014, formulation of Forest Act and Land Law, establishment of Lokayukta Court in the state etc.
