ITANAGAR, Sep 13: Arm wrestler Robin Natung made the state proud by winning gold medal in the 36th National Arm Wrestling Championship, 2017 in Guwahati from September 8 to 10.
He won the medal in the category of physically challenged person.
Natung was accorded a rousing welcome on his return to the state Capital on Tuesday by Arunachal Pradesh Paralympics Association led by General Secretary Rojot Gadung at RajiV Gandhi Stadium, Naharlagun.
It may be mentioned here that his talent was identified during the state Paralympics games this year, where he won gold medal.
Team Tawang emerges overall champions.
