PS visits East Kameng village

SEPPA, Sep 16: Parliamentary Secretary, Tax & Excise and S&T, Tapuk Taku visited Kakukao village under Seppa block in East Kameng district on Friday and appealed to the people to cooperate with the government for development of the area in the true sense.
Advocating for the concept of uniform development for all, the Parliamentary Secretary said that the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is taking every possible measure for all round development of the state.
East Kameng Deputy Commissioner, Rajeev Takuk highlighted about the aims and objectivesof the Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) and informed the villagers about the initiative taken by local MLA in bringing Kakukao village under the SAGY scheme.
The DC also spoke on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and stressed on achieving the Open Defecation Free status in true sense.
Earlier in the day, the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA) launched the Ujala scheme in the district. LED lights and fans were also distributed to many beneficiaries during the programme. (DIPRO)
