AALO, Sep 18: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) of West Siang organized a two-day mobile legal awareness campaign within Aalo Township on September in the last two days.
The awareness campaigns were conducted in every tri-junction and in the sideline of puja venues.
Resource persons and DLSA Member Secretary, Hirendra Kashyap dwelt on access to justice, Lok Adalat, Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme, 2011 and the NDPS Act, Domestic Violence Act, Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, Consumers Protection, Motor Vehicle Act, Para Legal Volunteers, Right to Education Act, child marriage laws and the Juvenile Justice Act.
Brochures and pamphlets on legal education were also distributed among the people. (DIPRO)
