ITANAGAR, Sep 20: After its screening in Ziro, international award winning short film, Aaba was screened at Itanagar for the first time, on Wednesday.
Attending the screening, renowned filmmaker Y D Thongchi appreciated the film and its concept. He said that the film has not only depicted the beautiful story of a grandfather and a granddaughter, but also the culture of the region in a beautiful manner.
“Though our young filmmakers and producers lack proper financial support, we can still harness our talents with short films”, he added.
Director of the film, Amar Kaushik said that he has been closely associated with the lifestyle of Arunachal Pradesh since his childhood, which subsequently helped him in his success with the film.
Producer of the film, Alison Welly also extended his gratitude to the people for extending their cooperation in the making of the film.
