ITANAGAR, Sep 20: The Arunachal Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan Teachers’ Association (CEC ARMSATA) has decided to continue its ongoing indefinite pen down strike till the authorities release the pending salaries of April to September.
The pen down strike of the CEC, ARMSATA entered its sixth day, but failed to bring any positive result, rued the Association in a release.
It said that almost half a year (including the month of September) has passed with the teachers working under RMSA being deprived of their rightful salaries.
“Our law makers and government officials always talk about quality education, but when it comes to the salary issue of RMSA teachers, all of them act deaf and blind, while the file process moves at a snail’s space,” the Association said.
“Our policy makers and concerned authority must know that we too are human beings and have families. We also need to feed our families”, it added.
