Cash reward announced for missing boy

TAWANG, Sep 21: The Tawang district unit police announced a cash reward for anyone who provides clue or information which could lead to the whereabouts of Toko Yame, who has been missing since September 16.
Massive search operation teams have also been formed under the supervision of the Tawang Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police, involving the district unit police, SSB, R&R team (SSB), ITBP, officials, public leaders, NGOs, student organizations and villagers to locate Toko.
The search teams are scouring all possible places of accidents and hideouts, including jungles, deserted shelters, labour camps, caves, bunkers and streams.
The administrations of West Kameng and East Kameng districts have also been requested to look out for the boy in their respective jurisdictions.
During emergency meetings called by the Deputy Commissioner on September 18 and 20, he requested all to cooperate in the search.
While an advisory has been issued in this regard, a coordination committee comprising of officers, public leaders and NGOs has also been constituted to coordinate and monitor the search and to maintain peaceful atmosphere through dissemination of facts and information to control spread of rumours.
