ITANAGAR, Sep 22: A week-long finishing school training program on Computer Aided Three-dimensional Interactive Application (CATIA) was conducted at Rajiv Gandhi Govt. Polytechnic (RGGP) here from September 18 to 22.
Final year students of CE and AUE were imparted hands-on-practice on 2D and 3D drawing and modeling using CATIA during the training programme. Other topics of the programme included use of advanced sketching tools, assembly drawing, drafting and CATIA surfing etc.
Sudipta Ghosh from Apex Technologies, Guwahati was the resource person of the training which was sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and organized under North East Quality Improvement Programme (NEQIP).
