DAPORIJO, Sep 24: A meeting of the District Task Force Committee for Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) and for success of National De-worming Day was held at the DC’s office on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, DC A K Singh called upon the field workers to chalk out strategies for success of IMI, which is set to begin from October 7 next. He assured that the district administration will extend all possible help for maximum coverage under the mission.
The DC asked stakeholders, like DMOs, ICDS, PHED and DDSEs to extend all cooperation for success of the mission. He also asked ASHA workers, ANM and Anganwadi workers to make proper data in their respective areas and distribute de-worming tablets to every child at schools and anganwadi centres on the ensuing de-worming day.
Under the intensified programme, circles and other important places like Dumporijo, Baririjo, Maro, Giba, Chetam,Taliha and Nacho will be covered.
