Orgs take out candle march for Toko

BHALUKPONG, Sep 30: The Aka Elite Society and All Aka (Hrusso) Students Union held a candlelight march in memory of late Toko Yame, student of JNV, Tawang, who was reportedly murdered in cold blood after he went missing on September 16 last.
The candlelight march, which started from the Mithun Gate and culminated at the Indigenous Ground, witnessed a massive turn out of participants from all communities in Bhalukpong.
Speaking on the incident, which lead to the loss of the precious life, AES Vice President (Admin) Labii Dususow expressed grief on behalf of all the communities residing at Bhalukpong.
Saying that criminals do not belong to any religion or community, he appealed to all the communities to fight against such criminals. He also appealed for fair justice for late Toko Yame.
Upper Bhalukpong ASM Jeevan Yame, who is also a relative of the deceased, thanked all the communities for taking part in the programme.
Towards the end, the gathered people also held two minutes mourning for late Toko.
