PASIGHAT, Oct 3: In view of the permission granted to 1839 Pioneer Unit to carry out firing practice at Raneghat firing Range, Pasighat from October 5 to 7, the East Siang district administration has restricted movement of people and domestic animals within the firing range during that period.
Meanwhile, East Siang District Magistrate (DM) has outsourced BBYK to remove stray animals from public places within Pasighat Township.
East Siang District Magistrate Tamiyo Tatak, in an order issued under section 133 CrPC, had earlier directed the owners not to let their domestic animals roam freely on the street and other public places, and those animals found roaming freely will be captured and sold through auction.
The BBYK is going to implement the order from October 4. DIPRO
