DAPORIJO, Oct 4: A Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) awareness campaign was held in the college premise of Government Degree College, Daporijo on Tuesday last in connection with Special Summary Revision of Photo Electoral Roll, 2017.
Addressing a huge gathering of students of Government Degree College and Government Higher Secondary School, Lecturer DIET and Nodal Officer (SVEEP), S B Singh highlighted the details of SVEEP activities and various stages of revision programme as fixed by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi.
Nodal Officer (EVM), Dr B Paul emphasised on the need for eligible voters, who would be attaining the age of 18, to get themselves enrolled in the electoral roll.
