ITANAGAR, Oct 6: Governor Dr BD Mishra visited some healthcare facilities in and around Capital Complex to get first hand knowledge about health service delivery system on Friday. He expressed his displeasure after the Urban Health Centre, Karsingsa was found closed during working hours.
The facilities, such as dispensaries, health centers and hospitals are meant to serve the needy people and it must be made available to them, he said.
Interacting with the medical officer at CHC, Doimukh, the Governor suggested to keep the healthcare centers neat and clean and obsolete equipments must be removed.
The Governor called upon the health service providers to put some extra time, if possible, into their job to serve the needy patients. (PRO to Governor)
