NIRJULI, Oct 7: Around 30 units of blood were collected during a voluntary blood donation camp organized by the NSS Cell of NERIST on Saturday.
The camp was organized in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (APSACS), Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS), Naharlagun and Tago Memorial Institute of Health Sciences and Hospital, Nirjuli.
The NSS unit of the institute was felicitated by the APSACS for its consistent effort for the voluntary blood donation mission for the last 10 years.
Meanwhile, Jesun Yangfo, a member of the All Chayang Tajo Youth Association, voluntarily donated a unit of blood to a needy patient at TRIHMS.
