ITANAGAR, Oct 13: Gyan Ganga School, Itanagar bagged the first position while Alphabet Public School, Nirjuli and GHSS, Naharlagun stood second and third respectively in the quiz completion organized as part of ‘Paryatan Parv’ celebration by State Tourism Department on October 13.
The prizes to the winners will be given during the Children Tourism Festival on the October 22.
Seven Higher Secondary Schools of Capital Complex took part in the quiz competition with theme “Aapna Desh Dekho’.
A short tourism promotional film on Arunachal was also screened.
TIOs Dalin Tana and Yedi Duyir and Pawas Prasoon, who is the TIO of MOT Capital, conducted the competition.
The Director (Tourism), who also present during competition, advised the participants to realize the tourism potentials of the state and promote it in a better way.
Assistant Director (Tourism) Bengia Manna Sonam briefed the students about ‘Paryatan Parv’ and the relevance of conducting quiz competition.
