ITANAGAR, Oct 13: Literary/ Poetry Club of Dera Natung Govt. College, Itanagar organised a literary programme, wherein Senior Assistant Professor (Hindi) Lilly Tumbom Riba Jomoh delivered a talk on poetry writing.
She also recited her poems ‘Dharti Ki Pukar’ and ‘Badhao Par Vijay’.
Two students, namely Sarah Kino (BA III Semester) and Tolum Chumchum (B. Com III Semester) recited their own composed poems.
Principal In-charge Kumar Tok asked the students to show their talents while taking the advantage of Literary/Poetry Club of the College.
Earlier, while highlighting the objective of the Club, Assistant Professor (English) Goli Nyodu asked the students to take full advantage of the Club.
The programme ended with distribution of prizes to the winners of handwriting (Calligraphy) competition held on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti.
Nani Taker of B.Sc (Ist Semester) and Miti Perme of BA (3rd Semester) won the first and second position.
