YINGKIONG, Oct 13: Mission Antodaya Gram Samridhi Swachhata Pakhwada at Simong village (Upper Siang) was launched on Friday amidst presence of the villagers, departmental heads, Panchayat and public leaders and Officers (HODs), PRI members, public leaders and villagers attended the programme.
Deputy Commissioner in-charge Adong Pertin, who launched the cleanliness fortnight, appealed to the people to actively participate in the cleanness drive and transform Swacch Bharat Mission into a mass movement
“Be an active partner of the government’s mission of Swachh Bharat to realize the dream of India,” he exhorted the public on the occasion.
On the occasion, a cleanness drive was organized, wherein the villagers, ASHAs and AnganwadiWorkers/helpers, Panchayat Members of Simong cleaned the road and surrounding areas of Simong Dere(Community Hall). DIPRO
