Social services at Itanagar & Dirang conducted

ITANAGAR, Oct 15: The youths of F & G Sectors along with the IMC Councillor Bogum Jumi Teli (Ward No 6) have conducted social service in their area on Sunday.
During the programme, the volunteers cleaned dustbins in G-Sector opposite R K Mission post office and at division IV junction point.
During the social service, the people of the Ward No 6 have resented saying that IMC garbage lifting vehicles are not lifting the garbage regularly for last one year.
The Dirang Employees Welfare Society (DEWS) in collaboration with the GB’s, PRI members and Rama camp Bazaar Committee has organized a day long mass social service cum awareness programme on anti-drug, literacy, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and open defecation at Ngangma Rama camp and Govt Secondary School, Rama camp under Dirang Sub-divison in West Kameng district on Sunday.
In his address, DEWS President Dorjee Phuntso appealed to the people of Rama camp to maintain cleanliness. He also advised the youth and students to study hard and keep away from narcotic substances.
Extra Assistant Commissioner, Sang Khandu and DEWS general secretary, Tashi Sermupa also spoke on the occasion.
