ITANAGAR, Oct 15: More than 30 students took part in a two days workshop on creative art and craft skills organized by Multitech Computer Education here on October 14-15.
The children were taught about various creative techniques and how to make small craft with water bottles, bottle cap, chart/colour papers, ribbons.
The inaugural day was attended by Dipen Das, Principal, School of Creative Art, Bishwanath and Amit Mukherjee, Principal Nrityangan, School of Dance as resource persons.
Amit Mukherjee dwelt on different kinds of art and crafts which could be helpful for students in their academic curriculum.
Appreciating the organizer for conducting the workshop especially for children, Mukherjee said there are various skills to learn provided students show interest in it.
The second day of the workshop was dedicated to session on visual art wherein the students learnt about the basics of drawing and painting from resource person Buddha Nath, an Artist from Assam. On the occasion, an art exhibition incorporating the paintings of the students was held wherein parents and faculties also participated. Certificates were also distributed to the participating students.
