APSLSA opens its 19th Legal Aid Clinic

ITANAGAR, Oct 16: Expanding its legal services in the state, Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (APSLSA) on Monday opened its 19th Legal Aid Clinic at Additional District and Session Judge Complex, Bomdila, West Kameng.
Member Secretary of APSLSA Budi Habung, who inaugurated the legal aid clinic, trained the para legal volunteers (PLVs) and panel layers. He highlighted the role and responsibility of legal services authority, do’s and don’t of penal lawyers, Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Fund/Scheme, procedures to be maintained to visit a jail, the legal aid clinic, and information regarding honorarium and professional fees etc.
Additional District and Session Judge, Bomdila and Chairman of West Kameng DLSA Gote Mega, President of West Kameng Bar Association Khamu Desisaw and layers attended the programme.
