Youths advised to be innovative

PASIGHAT, Oct 16: CEO and President, Datawind, Canada Suneet Singh Tuli highlighted the importance of encouraging innovations and advised the young talent pool of the country to strive in order to develop new applications for public services.
He was addressing the students of APEX Professional University here during the University’s first convocation which was held on Sunday last.
APU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. A.A. Dange highlighted the development of the APU in the past years, both on academic and administrative fronts. He also emphasised on the unique teaching methodology of the University which is a blend of Bloom Taxonomy and Gurukul tradition.
National Law University, Assam Vice Chancellor, Dr. J.S. Patil appreciated APU on the outreach program of the University and acknowledged the important role that it plays in vocational training and education.
State Chief Information Commissioner, GoAP, Dr. Joram Begi in his address appreciated the role of APU as a state private university for its contribution in becoming the fastest growing University in a very short span of time in North East India.
Founder & Chancellor of the APU, Acharya Dhanwaant Singh, Member of Parliament Ninong Ering along with East Siang, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tatdo Borang, Dean, CHF, Central Agriculture University, Pasighat, Dr. A.K. Pandey, Chief Engineer GREF, Col. Manoj Kumar Khare, CO, Indian Air Force A.P. Singh and Chief Medical Officer of the Pasighat General Hospital, Dr. Yater Ringu Darang were also present on the occasion.
