ITANAGAR, Oct 29: The Rajiv Gandhi Government Polytechnic (RGGP), Itanagar under AICTE-NEQIP scheme organized a two days motivational training programme for the faculty members and staff on October 26 and 27.
The training was conducted in two batches separately for faculties and all other staff, including technical and ministerial staff.
Management Consultant Sanjeeb Kakati from Guwahati conducted tailor-made sessions for employees of RGGP, suiting their work profile.
During the training programme, various topics, such as “Changing Role of Technical Teachers”, “Motivating Students and Motivating Self”, “Professional Performance”, “Values and Attitudes” and “Leadership and Team Building” were covered for faculty members using interactive audio-video teaching aids.
The essential soft skills necessary for technical teachers were also discussed.
The technical and ministerial staff participated in the sessions which covered topics on “Internal and External Customer Satisfaction (the “I” factor)”, “Habits to be Effective at Workplace” and “Effective Communication”.
