NYK organizes training for capacity development

PASIGHAT, Oct 29: A daylong training programme on youth leadership for capacity development was organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Pasighat at the Engo Takar Hall on Saturday.
The programme is being sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Addressing the participants, Additional Deputy Commissioner Tatdo Borang said that such training programmes would make the youth more valuable in today’s modern society. The youths have a role to renew and refresh the current status of society, he said. The ADC also asked the youth to be torch bearers in the clean India movement.
Earlier, District Youth Coordinator (NYK), Tapun Taki informed that NYK involves youths in various activities, including literacy and education, health and family welfare, sanitation and cleanliness, environment conservation, awareness on social issues, women empowerment, rural development, skill development, etc.
Resource person, Er KalingTaki also held an open-house discussion on Swachh Bharat Mission. (DIPRO)
