US bikers to explore Arunachal

ITANAGAR, Nov 2: Seven US nationals, who are on a nine-district tour of Arunachal Pradesh with their motorbikes, were given a send off by a local tour operator here on Thursday.
The US nationals, who are on a visit to hill states of Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh on tourist visa, visited Itanagar to learn about the frontier state of Arunachal Pradesh, and said that they were mesmerised by its ethnic tribal culture.
The bikers will first visit Ziro and then head for Koloriang, followed by Daporijo, Aalo, Mechuka and Tuting, besides taking a ride through the Bhalukpong-Bomdila-Tawang tourist circuit.
A scholar, Rockwel Charles Anthony said, “We had heard about Arunachal as the land of the rising sun, and of its beautiful valleys and flowing rivers.
We wanted to explore the place and enjoy the bounty of nature.”
Tour operator and Jambling Tours & Travels Proprietor, Gelek Rapsel said that all arrangements have been made for the bikers, and he hoped that they would have a wonderful time exploring the state.
