AALO, Nov 5: The Arunachal Pradesh Charitable Task (APCT) organised its 6th ‘Late Rutum Kamgo Memorial Lecture’ at Aalo in memory of its first Secretary and former RSS activist, late Rutum Kamgo.
The lecture attracted more than 100 participants from across the state.
Addressing the gathering, APCT Secretary Talem Mize highlighted the contributions made by late Rutum Kamgo in various social sectors. He also highlighted the various social works undertaken by the APCT across the state.
Kenli Ete, a renowned social activist from Aalo, requested the participants to carry forward the work and vision of late Rutum Kamgo. He also stressed on the need to preserve and protect the tribal culture and traditions from any kind of intrusion and invasion.
Vijay Anna Swami, Executive Director, RIWATCH, Roing, gave an informative PowerPoint presentation on “India’s response to Chinese Expansionist Policy and its business”, wherein he briefed upon the hostile expansion policy adopted by China, its potential threats and responses need to be adopted by India to counter and stop such hostile policies.
An interactive session was also held later with the participants, which was joined by Minjum Kamgo, wife of late Rutum Kamgo.
