DHANBAD, Nov 5: Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday registered their second consecutive win in the ongoing U-19 Women’s One-Day League and Knockout Cricket Tournament organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, defeating Sikkim by 80 runs at the Railway Stadium, Dhanbad.
Deciding to bat first after winning the toss, Arunachal scored 157 in 34.4 over.
M Kalra (38) and K Kaithl (31) were the major run contributors for the state team.
N Y Lepcha and T C Lepcha claimed two wickets each, while Archana Limbu, Pratika Chetry S Gurung, N P Lepcha and D Lepcha took one wicket each for Sikkim.
Chasing the target of 158, Sikkim was all out for just 77 runs in 33.3 over.
N P Lepcha and S L Lepcha scored 15 and 11 runs respectively.
R Yadav and K Kaithl took four wickets each, while Nadek Nabum took one wicket for Arunachal Pradesh.
