Naharlagun, Nov 7: Along with the rest of the country, the Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day was observed as Flag Day across Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
The day was observed by Scouts and Guides of Naharlagun Government Middle School, D-Sector, GHSS, Polo Colony and GSS, Pachin by organizing a rally to spread the message of Scouting and Guiding among the young people and to motivate them to serve humanity with a missionary zeal and dedication.
The world Scouts and Guides movement is more than 100 years old.
In India, the Boy Scout Association in India and the Hindustan Scout Association merged together and formed the Bharat Scouts and Guides on November 7, 1950.
