Sangram, Nov 14: The Sangram Area Trans-Highway Land Affected Forum has appealed to the Kurung Kumey Deputy Commissioner to release the compensation amount of Sangram to Kush at the earliest.
In a press statement, the Forum played down the report that the DLRSO had demanded a certain amount of money from them as alleged by a few organisations.
The survey was reportedly conducted by the Kurung Kumey DLSRO, Sangram SDO and PI,along with gaon burahs and joined by representatives from different departments.
It further defended the DLRSO by stating that the survey was fairly conducted and the Deputy Commissioner should not entertain unnecessary complaints by various organisations.
