SEPPA, Nov 18: Tax & Excise Parliamentary Secretary, Tapuk Taku has announced to award Rs 5 lakhs to every alumnus/alumna of Government Model College (GMC) in East Kameng district who cracks the state civil service examination.
Taku made this announcement during the college’s 7th annual college day celebration on Wednesday.
GMC principal Robin Hissang also urged the alumni to prepare for the forthcoming Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Combined Competitive Examination seriously in order to win the award.
A week earlier, Home Minister Kumar Waii had announced Rs 10 lakhs for natives of East Kameng who crack the UPSC examination.
