DEM, Nov 22: The three-day golden jubilee celebration of the Dem Baptist Church concluded with great pomp and gaiety on Sunday last.
The day started with water baptism programme and a Lord Supper programme, which was participated by a large number of believers from nearby villages.
During Sunday service, the word of God was shared by Secretary of the EFI, North East, Guwahati, Reverend Halli Likha. The vesper cum closing service was administered by NBCC General Secretary, Reverend Tar Choya, who called upon the believers to act responsibly.
In the final match of the Late Khoda Taha Memorial Volleyball (for men), the Radhpu Baptist Church defeated the Tago Baptist Church.
The ceremony concluded with mega dance with participation of 150 performers and distribution of prizes to the winners of various games and cultural events.
