ITANAGAR, Nov 23: The whereabouts of Karko Riba, who has been missing since November 20 from Srikakullam Road Railway Station in Andhra Pradesh, is still unknown.
According to his family, the two relatives who went to search for Karko in Srikakullam are having a difficult time communicating with the locals due to a language barrier and the police there are also not being responsive in the search.
The family also informed that the unidentified passenger, who called Karto’s wife on the same night he disappeared, was called by the police at Vellore, but no action is being initiated on ground.
While Karko remains untraceable, his family is set to meet Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju, who is expected to arrive at Dipa on Friday and seek his intervention.
