APPDSU demands prompt investigation into Pinch’s death

ITANAGAR, Dec 01: All Papum Pare District Students’ Union (APPDSU) has demanded speedy investigation into the death of Arunachal Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board Chairman and former Doimukh MLA Ngurang Pinch on November 18.
APPDSU demanded the SIT to expedite the investigation so that that justice for the victim is done swiftly.
“The case should be solved at the earliest to unzip the real truth behind Pinch’s death,” APPDSU said and adding that the union along with its six federal bodies will continue to fight until justice is delivered.
APPDSU will also participate in the candle light vigil being organized by Achi Dopum Welfare Society on December 7. It will start from Tennis Court, IG Park and culminate at Gompa, Itanagar.
Meanwhile, APPDSU urged the Investigating Officer of Women Police Station, Itanagar to record the statements of 88 victim students of Class VI and VII of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Tani Hapa (New Sagalee) at their school instead of summoning them and their parents to Itanagar.
It suggested the student victims and their parents that they should lodge FIR against the accused teachers; otherwise, the case might become weak.
Further, APPDSU demanded the State Government to constitute district wise Vigilance Committee for all schools so that such incident doest no recur in near future.
