ITANAGAR, Dec 4: Six candidates, including an Independent, have filed their nominations for the December 21 by-election to Pakke-Kessang and Likabali Assembly constituencies on the last day of nomination on Monday.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Biyuram Wahge and INC candidate Kameng Dolo have filed their nomination papers from Pakke-Kessang constituency.
BJP candidate Kardo Nyigyor, INC candidate Modam Dini, People’s Party of Arunachal (PPA) candidate Gumke Riba and Independent Sengo Taipodia have filed their nominations from Likabali constituency.
The scrutiny of the nominations will be done on December 5. The last day of withdrawal of candidature is December 7.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission has deputed Yaiskul Meitei as General Observer for the by-election in Likabali.
