PASIGHAT, Dec. 6: Around 180 participants, including foreign delegates, attended the two-day 4th International Symposium on Minor Fruits, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, organized by the College of Horticulture & Forestry here in East Siang district from December 5 to 6.
The event was sponsored by the NABARD, and organised in collaboration with the Sri Lanka-based International Society of Minor Fruits, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants (ISMFMAP) and the Imphal(Manipur)-based Central Agriculture University (CAU).
Among others, CAU’s Director of Extension Education, Dr R K Saha, CAU Vice Chancellor, Prof M Premjit Singh, and ISMFMAP Secretary, Prof MA Rahim attended the programme.
