ITANAGAR,Dec 6: Fifty-one persons attended a state level vendor development programme organized here on Wednesday by the Branch MSME Development Institute, in association with the Inspector General, NE Frontier HQ.
The programme was aimed at educating the MSMEs about vendors’ participation in procurement of goods and services provided by central public sector undertakings, departments, and ministries of the central government.
In his address, NE Frontier HQ’s Deputy Inspector General, S B Sharma urged local prospective industrialists and vendors to prepare lists of items being manufactured, and to “enlist the same for their procurement purpose in future.”
The Itanagar MSME-DI branch’s Assistant Director, G Podder, highlighted the details of the Public Procurement Policy, and Itanagar ITBP Assistant Commander, Sanjeev Mishra, and Inspector D D Sharma spoke on procurement procedures, e-procurement, vendor registration process, etc.
