DAPORIJO, Dec 21: A meeting of the Upper Subansiri District Task Force for Intensified Mission Indradhanush and the Measeles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) was held on Thursday in the office of the deputy commissioner here to chalk out an action plan for the district.
Deputy Commissioner Danish Ashraf exhorted everyone to seek to achieve the highest percentage of coverage during the MRVC in the district.
“Since the district has a tough terrain, an early start could be considered for the vaccination campaign,” he said.
The DC cautioned on double counting and said that the actual attendance of students should be considered “instead of the enrolled number.”
WHO RRT, Dr Vijay Deokar made a PowerPoint presentation on the MRVC.
The vaccination campaign will be carried out at all the schools and anganwadi centres in the district from 1-28 February, 2018, for children below 15 years and above 9 months. (DIPRO)
