PASIGHAT, Dec 22: The East Siang district administration has instructed the Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) and the EACs concerned to constitute sector-wise committees for monitoring garbage disposal in the urban areas, before 27 December.
In an order issued on Thursday, the deputy commissioner observed that, though Paglek and other areas had been inspected for the purpose of constituting such committees, the PMC and the town magistrate have not yet constituted them.
The administration has divided Pasighat township into 26 sectors for smooth conduct of garbage disposal activities.
It also asked the MEO and the MS to provide municipal trucks for lifting garbage daily.
