ITANAGAR, Dec 22: The Arunachal Students Federation, the All Arunachal Pradesh Youth Organization, and the Arunachal Citizens Right Organization laid out a series of demands in a joint representation they submitted to the deputy chief minister on Friday.
In their five-point representation, the unions demanded reconsideration of the decision to convert the former chief minister’s bungalow into the state guest house; early implementation of the 14th Finance Commission; granting of ‘four-lane compensation’ from Papu Nallah to Banderdewa; holding of chief minister’s public darshan; and introducing local dialects at every upper primary school as third language.
