ITANAGAR, Dec 26: Following the announcement of a 12-hour capital bandh by the Abo Tani Clan Organisation (ATCO), former MLA Lokam Tassar has filed an FIR against the organisation at the police station here on 26 December.
Tassar sought immediate arrest of ATCO President Yamra Taya and the other executive members of ATCO for ‘illegal activities in trying to divide the state on communal lines and defaming Abo Tani’s rich traditions and also infringing the rights of the masses.’
Earlier, on Sunday, the ATCO had declared a 12-hour capital bandh on 29 December, from 5 am onwards, to protest against the state government’s alleged failure to address its demands.
