PS inaugurates CO office

PARBUK, Dec 5: WRD Parliamentary Secretary Gum Tayeng inaugurated the CO office along with a playground with a rostrum here in Lower Dibang Valley district on Friday.
Addressing the function, which was attended by Deputy Commissioner in-charge, Chestha Yadav, Parbuk CO S Taram, panchayat members and others, Tayeng said it was a dream project of former Dambuk MLA, late Jomin Tayeng, “to bring administration to the doorsteps of the people.”
She requested the district administration to establish a permanent office for the CO and his staff. Tayeng informed that a fire station has already been sanctioned, “but due to unavailability of appropriate land near the CO HQ, the office is yet to be constructed.”
She also advised students to participate in literary, sports, and cultural activities and exhibit their hidden talents.
Yadav presented a brief on the administration’s “staff position,” and informed that staff requisition, especially for Parbuk circle, “has been already processed for deployment.”
She sought cooperation from the public to ensure better delivery of public services from the CO office.
SP Sanjay Kr Sain, the CO, and Bukkong ZPM Starson Saring also spoke.
The function featured traditional dances by cultural troupes, along with a concert by Alar Dupak (Arunachal Idol, Season 2). (DIPRO)
