ITANAGAR, Jan 10: The Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) has demanded that the state government roll back its order directing the SSA teachers to renew their contract agreement.
In a release, APYC vice president Geli Ete stated that the Education department has directed the SSA teachers to renew their contract agreement in March this year, which the APYC leader termed a pressure tactic to ‘stab down’ the demand for regularization of their services.
Stating that the youth brigade of the Congress party is with the SSA teachers, the APYC threatened to launch democratic movement jointly with the SAA teachers, if the said order is not rolled back.
