NAHARLAGUN, Jan 21: MLA Pani Taram was awarded the ‘Adarsh Yuva Vidhayak Puraskar’ at the 8th Indian Student Parliament held in Pune, Maharashtra.
Twelve lawmakers of the country – three of them from the Northeast region – received the award.
Speaking at the event, Taram said that “the youths are the future of tomorrow. They have lots of responsibility and they should work for social and economic development.”
He said the innovative opinions of the youths need to be respected and recognized.
