Road show on NEAP organised in Itanagar

ITANAGAR, Jan 22: A roadshow was held here on Monday as part of the North East Accelerator Programme (NEAP) in partnership with the Tribal Development Foundation (TDF).
IIM Calcutta Innovation Park (IIMCIP) in association with the Science & Technology department launched the NEAP, which is aimed at recognizing potentially game-changing early-stage entrepreneurs from Northeast India and creating a supportive ecosystem to help them scale up their businesses.
The selected entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to get mentored by experts from the IIMCIP and other partners on various aspects of business, and will be connected to a wider market and potential investors.
Ennovent, a global innovation company focused on sustainability and STPI, along with the union electronics & information technology ministry have partnered with the IIMCIP to execute this programme.
Over the last week, the programme has been conducting a series of roadshows discussing entrepreneurial ecosystem and NEAP opportunity with entrepreneurs across the Northeastern states with support of various local partners.
The event in Itanagar included a panel discussion with Getem Apang (TDF Trustee), Tshering Khrimey (founder of local startup ‘Handyman’), Joram Dol, (founder of local startup ‘shop2home’) and Abraham Ering (founder of a technology startup ‘Arfroise’).
