Dear Editor,
It was during first ever Aadhaar campaign in the State, I enrolled and got register myself and my family members. Being a Govt. Servant, I had to register my Aadhaar address where I was serving. Because those Aadhaar Officials asked me to provide present address where I temporarily stayed. So, I followed their only instructions. Now I have been transferred at my hometown, Ruksin and I would like to change my address i.e. my proper & permanent home address through online available and controlled by deputed aadhaar Officials at Ruksin. As in some Official matter, now my proper and permanent home address is required in the Card.
Unlike earlier, now all Cyber Cafes in Pasighat & Ruksin have been Officially banned for doing this task. We are compelled to go only at officially deputed aadhaar Distributor Centers. But ironically, all Distributor Centre remain close all the time since last many days. I have been trying for the last fourteen days.
I inquired the matter at ADC Office, Ruksin and learnt that the Govt. is not paying their salary. As a result, they are not turning up in protesting against for not paying their due salary.
Now, my question is; if the Govt. can’t pay their salary then why these people have been employed to carry out this task? At the same time, why then the concerned authorities of East Siang District put a ban to all Cyber Cafes for this task? Who will now rectify & carry out correction to our ADHAAR Cards which is compulsorily required as one of the main documents for all official purposes?
Yours,
John Panyang,
