ITANAGAR, Jan 23: The All Capital Complex Govt Registered Contractor Organization (ACCGRCO) in a representation to the PWD (western zone) chief engineer has requested for floating notice inviting tender (NIT) as a mandatory requirement against all the civil works under the Itanagar assembly constituency, as per the CPWD rules.
Demanding cancellation of all ongoing works in and around the Capital Complex which are being executed without inviting open tender, the organization said that open tenders or e-tendering for all the state and central government-sponsored and NEC schemes must be floated in a transparent manner.
‘Since open tenders are not invited against the sanctioned schemes, we do not get such civil work. We do not have capacity to pay a certain amount for the monthly Employments Provision Fund (EPF) and quarterly GST fee as we are not getting civil work within own domicile area and also due to implementation of district base Entrepreneurship Act which restricted us to participate in tender competition at other districts or areas,’ the organization said.
