PALIN, Jan 29: Palin ADC S Lowang advised youths to take up traditional cane and bamboo development activities, saying they have multiple uses and could help generate income.
She was speaking at the inaugural function of a 60-day skill development programme being conducted by the Rural Development and Heritage Society here in Kra Daadi district. The programme, which began last Saturday, is being organised with assistance from the SIDBI’s Itanagar branch.
The ADC appealed to the SIDBI branch manager to sponsor more such programmes in different trades in the district. She also assured the trainees of every possible help in setting up their own units.
