ITANAGAR, Feb 6: Former home minister and senior Congress leader Takar Marde joined the BJP on Tuesday.
Along with him, former Kra Daadi district food & civil supplies officer Dana Takio, All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation president Dobing Sonam Leyak, former All Papum Pare District Students’ Union president Techi Naka, and public leader from Upper Subansiri, Jiter Bui joined the saffron party.
Welcoming them to the party fold, state BJP president Tapir Gao advised them to work hard for the party, adding that the BJP is a party that values experience, competence, and performance. The party’s State Disciplinary Action Committee chairman Tapen Siga also spoke.
