DARAK, Feb 14: Parliamentary Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Nyamar Karbak recently visited Darak circle under West Siang district to take an update of various restoration and ongoing projects.
Karbak visited the ongoing renovation work of a steel bridge over the Sibu-Hibu River, which is the main lifeline of the circle.
Expressing satisfaction over the work which is being executed by the PWD, Karbak called upon the department’s authorities to keep up the good work so that restoration work is completed on time.
The parliamentary secretary then inspected the ongoing construction of a badminton stadium, multipurpose hall and also the VIP gallery of Darak general ground.
Interacting with the workers and executing authorities concerned, Karbak directed them to maintain quality of work and also complete the projects within the estimated timeframe.
Various departmental heads and public leaders of the area accompanied the legislator during his visit.
