ITANAGAR, Feb 16: The tenure of the 4th body of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) has ended on Friday.
Outgoing APSCW chairperson Mitali Tingkhatra urged the state government to assign the new commission team as early as possible to ensure its smooth functioning.
She expressed appreciation for the state legal services authority, women and various other NGOs for their support to the APSCW for the uplift of the women of the state.
She and her team urged the people to cooperate with the upcoming commission and continue to extend the same support in the future too.
A team of the Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society also met the outgoing team and discussed various women and child related issues.
