Union demands capital punishment for Nyori’s murderers

ITANAGAR, Mar 3: The Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank Employees’ Union on Saturday appealed to the authority concerned to hand over the Bomge Nyori trial in a fast track court and to award capital punishment to all the culprits.
While it lauded the East Siang district unit police for cracking the Bomge Nyori murder case within such a short span of time with subsequent arrest of three persons, the union said that “the culprits do not have a place in any society for committing such a heinous crime” and demanded that all of them “should be hanged till death”.
Late Bomge Nyori, a cashier at the Arunachal Pradesh Rural Bank, Mebo branch, was brutally murdered on 7 February last. He was later found dead in a pool of blood inside the bank branch.
